I have good news and I have bad news. The bad news first: It does not look like I will get a pardon. Now the good news: It looks like I will get something BETTER than a pardon!
On Tuesday April 14, 2026, the DOJ filed a motion to dismiss David's convictions. The government filed a motion to dismiss the convictions of all 12 of the remaining January 6 defendants that did not receive a pardon.

Liberals Are Hopping Mad
This is of course huge news for me and my family. It's been over 5 years since this persecution began, and it finally looks like it will end. We could not be happier. But not everyone is happy. The liberals are losing their mind. The still think January 6 was a MAGA insurrection. When we know it was a government set up.
Trump's DOJ is trying to erase the most serious charges against members of the Proud Boys & Oath Keepers for helping plan Jan 6.
These are the people who beat Capitol Police bloody & tried to overturn an election. And the Trump Admin wants to let them get away with it.… pic.twitter.com/QSOUnvSTIb— Senator Chris Van Hollen (@ChrisVanHollen) April 15, 2026
One of the attorney's for the Oath Keepers fired a warning at Senator Van Hollen that we would sue him for defamation. It's no joke. We are taking names!
Senator Van Hollen,
Your statement is not only false — it is deliberately defamatory.
You claim that Kenneth Harrelson and other Oath Keepers “helped plan Jan. 6,” “beat Capitol Police bloody,” and “tried to overturn an election.” None of that is true. The Department of Justice…— 🇺🇸FormerFedsGroup.Com🇺🇸 (@FormerFeds) April 15, 2026
A Moment of Panic!
In spite of all the "spite" of Democrats, we are so happy about this development. My appeal attorney Chad sent me an urgent email, and I was worried. He said,
David, call me asap, #### As soon as possible. Chad.
I thought maybe they were going to arrest me again or file more charges, for who knows what.
When he told me the government was going to move to dismiss the indictment, I was overwhelmed. Thank the Lord! This is even better than a pardon, because a pardon leaves the conviction in tact. A dismissal with prejudice removes even the conviction. I would truly be "off the hook" as the Lord said years ago. This is a fulfillment of something the Lord told me 5 years ago.
We Are Cautiously Optomistic
People are acting like the battle is won, and we are going free. I am more cautious. I was confident on January 19, 2025. Then I wasn't pardoned with everyone else on inauguration day. Then, after I was let out of prison, the Judge tried to keep us on probation for 3 years. (They would have loved a probation violation to put me back in prison for 5 years!) Then the Judge tried to keep me from visiting D.C. without permission. We had to fight it for months. Finally, we were off probation and travel restrictions - after receiving a commutation!
I don't know what stunts these people will try to throw at us to punish us more. True, the DOJ filed the motion of dismissal. True, the courts usually grant it. But this is not a usual case. Listen to some of the vitriol coming from the Left:
DOJ Reverses Course
The DOJ has been opposing our motions for a new trial since Trump took office. That is what prompted Kelly Megg's attorney to write a scathing twitter/x post:
Yet Pirro refused to acknowledge the email from innocent Oathkeepers on appeal asking for Rule 48 dismissal? And she opposes a remand for Rule 33 motion for a new trial? Please make this go viral. Was told it's bc unknown to DJT the DOJ is in bed w/lobbyists who charge big $s pay… https://t.co/3tOV03iOZO

Recently, they opposed the PB motion for a retrial. PB went scorched earth and called people out. Read the article here:
Trump’s DOJ Is Still Fighting J6ers — And It’s Time to Call It What It Is, Enrique Tarrio
The next day, the DOJ moves to dismiss the cases for all 12 of us.
Ulterior Motives At Play at the DOJ?
All 12 of us were petitioning for a retrial. There was such prosecutorial abuse, criminal witness tampering, purgery, etc. that we would surely win. The attorneys think the DOJ doesn't want to be seen as defending the (false) accusations of the Biden DOJ by going back to trial or either on appeal. The DOJ would have to take the other side of the argument. We would argue that we didn't commit Sedition, and the government would be forced to say that we did. They don't want to do that now.
I am personally not interested in that argument. Whatever the case, all of us 12 are extremely grateful to the Lord for this development. It could be as short as a few days or a few weeks before it works its way through court and the judge. There are still a lot of people who don't want us "seditionists" out of prison. After our sentences were commuted, the judges tried to keep us on probation. Who knows what these evil people will try now.
More Ground Still To Cover
The DOJ is still blocking restitution for January 6 defendants. My losses are starting to approach $1 million, in actual countable dollar losses. That doesn't include pain, suffering, loss of reputation, defamation, etc.
Read: Jan6 Restitution Still Being Blocked!
Ed Martin, who is the Federal Pardon Attorney put a message out the day after the DOJ moved to dismiss our cases. His message is cryptic, but I believe he is saying to keep pushing for restitution. What do you think? Read it below:
Hearing from J6rs and families tonight. They feel respected even loved. Proud.
But there is more for you to do.
Keep grinding. You were directly wronged by Biden prosecutors and you deserve more.
Thank you for never giving up on America even when things went slower than they…— Eagle Ed Martin (@EagleEdMartin) April 15, 2026
Don't Stop Praying and Helping!
As I said before, I don't know what these Democrats will try to do next. Will the Judges oppose the dismissal? Think this sounds crazy? They did it to Michael Flynn! Read about it here: Appeals court keeps Flynn case alive, won’t order dismissal
