Bryan, a great MAGA patriot in FL, read my article: Trump Thought I Was Pardoned! and contacted the Republican Assembly (FRA) in Florida. Bryan, like 2 million other MAGA patriots, want me and the other 11 J6ers pardoned. Lou Martin, head of the FRA, penned a powerful letter directly to Trump requesting our pardon. He also sent the letter to all the Republican leaders in Florida. Here's some excerpts:
All twelve were accused of seditious conspiracy, pleaded NOT GUILTY, refused plea deals,
and exercised their constitutional right to trial—despite facing the threat of life imprisonment.
They stood on principle, accepted the risk, went to trial, and were imprisoned.
Lou gets it! They threatened us with life imprisonment trying to force us to take a plea deal. They wanted us to lie about Trump and say "Trump told us to do it." They wanted to "get Trump." And they didn't care whose lives they destroyed in the process.
History will judge leaders not only by the laws they enforced, but by whether mercy and fairness were applied when punishment no longer served the public good.
This is what I'm afraid of though. I'm afraid that "the powers that be" think it DOES serve the public good by continuing this unjust punishment (read "Sedition is Baseless" and "Obstructing an Officer is Baseless"). I wrote about my fears here:
Denied Pardon for the Greater Good?
I'm afraid "they" think it will help the party's chances to win the mid-terms, if we remain unpardoned. We have to convince them that is not true! The whole of the MAGA community is watching us 12 J6ers like a canary in a coal mine. "What will they do to these J6ers? Will they do it to me too?"
