Its been three weeks now, and no one has said, "I told you so". They don't need to. "How could this happen after so many words from the Lord that suggested otherwise?" I don't know yet. Pastor Bob, at New Life Family Worship in Punta Gorda, wisely suggested that we not get distracted with questions when things don't go right. We are still in the fight. God will make it plain in time. For now, we do not deny reality, but rather defy reality. Peter defied reality when he walked on water. This is how you get a miracle: believe what God has said in defiance of your current reality. Ever since my imprisonment the Lord has only encouraged me in my faith and His words to me. The chaplain here was awakened in the night last week with a message from the Lord. On Sunday he said, " I don't know who you are, but the Lord says, don't give up keep fighting. It may look impossible, but don't give up." That was for me.
