Video of David in the Capitol

By David, 23 November, 2024

This is David's 11 minutes in the Capitol that got him sentenced to 3 years in prison.

This is the video "they" didn't want you to see. It has taken almost 4 years. It shows David doing nothing wrong.

Scroll down to view the video.

Synopsis:

00:00-00:04 This shows the camera angle for the next video clip. It shows that the camera is on the porch outside the Capitol and facing the Columbus doors.

00:05-00:58 It was recorded by an unknown person just outside the Columbus doors. You can hear the crowd yelling "Push!" Other people were saying, "Stop pushing!" It was a stadium stampede. There was no fighting it. Our Patriot friend was pushing into the Capitol. (Being pushed into a restricted space is not a crime.) In the background is the fire alarm sounds. The camera shot accentuates how chaotic it was when the doors were opened from the inside.

00:59-01:04 This shows the next camera angle. It is taken from a Capitol surveillance camera. It is showing the Columbus doors and an anteroom.

01:05-01:52 This video shows the mass of people clamoring against the crowd, the pushing, the jostling, and the chaos. People are holding onto the doors trying not to get pushed in. Our Patriot friend will is marked with a round circle. A time clock is in the bottom right to track all 11 minutes in the Capitol.

01:53-02:04 Shows the next camera angle inside the Great Rotunda and facing the House Hallway.

02:05-06:26 Our Patriot friend will enter from the left of the screen. A red oval will point him out. He will make his way across the screen to the right. Notice how peaceful it is inside the Great Rotunda. You will not see any police, fighting, pepper spray, violence, vandalism, rioting, etc. He then makes his way towards the House hallway doorway, and will "hide" behind the statute on the left. He spends a relatively long time behind that statute. After about 4 minutes in the Capitol (06:13 on the video), the group he was with exits the Great Rotunda for the Small House Rotunda where they helped Officer Harry Dunn. Our Patriot friend shows indecision. He is uncertain whether to follow the group or remain by the statue. He exits the Great Rotunda, then comes back in, then exits again. A time stamp shows what time it was when he entered the Small House Rotunda.

06:27-06:38 This shows where our Patriot friend stood in the Small House Rotunda.

06:39-09:18 The camera cuts back to the previous view in the Great Rotunda looking at the House hallway. Our Patriot friend is off camera for a few minutes. There is nothing really happening except that a member of the group moves through the frame and goes to talk to our Patriot friend in the Small House Rotunda. It shows that once in the Small House Rotunda, he did not move from that spot.

09:19-10:06 This clip is inserted in sequence and was captured by a citizen journalist. He provided the captions based on what he observed, i.e., the Oath Keepers were helping protect Harry Dunn from aggressive protestors. Our Patriot friend is pointed out standing against the wall. Harry Dunn says, "...[you want to] kill everybody, right?" (This shows his panicked state of mind.) The crowd answers, "No...We don't want to kill anybody, we want answers." (Answers about the contested election.) The citizen journals points out that Kelly Meggs was was "physically and verbally intervening" to protect Harry Dunn.

10:07-13:24 The video cuts back to the Great Rotunda looking at the House hallway. Nothing happens for about 2 minutes. Then our Patriot friend exits the Small House Rotunda at 2:51pm after roughly 10 minutes in the Capitol (12:59 on the video). He is following behind another member of the group. They skirt along the left side of the Rotunda towards the doors through which they entered.

13:25-13:36 This shows the camera angle. It looks towards the Columbus doors.

13:37-14:15 Our Patriot friend is exiting the Capitol. He was never told to leave, never engaged in violence, shouted, or celebrated being in the Capitol. He will come up from the bottom of the screen and exit at the top of the screen. Notice that people are peacefully exiting the Capitol. Protestors are clapping the officer's shoulder in solidarity and appreciation on the left side of the doorway. Our Patriot friend exits after 11:15 in the Capitol. It cost him 3 years of prison time.
