Four January 6th defendants have taken their case to the supreme Court over the charge of "Obstructing an Official Proceeding". The applicability of this charge to January 6 ends at the name. It was intended to apply to document destruction and accounting situations like the Enron scandal. This is a huge deal for David Moerschel's case!
David Moerschel was falsely convicted of Conspiracy to Obstruct an Official Proceeding AND actually Obstructing it. That's two felonies. These laws don't even apply! If the supreme Court rules in our favor, that would remove two of the four convictions David Moerschel received. Then our lawyers are appealing the remaining convictions and have strong grounds.
He's been held prisoner for over 6 weeks now. In a just world, he would not have even been arrested. Pray for the success of these four J6ers at the Supreme Court, as we try to wrestle justice from the leviathan. And pray for his wife and three children.
